Optronics Introduces Speed Edger 6ES at OLA

October 21, 2002, (Charlottesville, VA) - National Optronics will introduce the 6ES Patternless Edger at the upcoming Optical Laboratories Association Show in Indianapolis. The 6ES is a high production model of the Optronics 6E Patternless Edger, combining all of the 6E’s features and capabilities with a faster cycle time. Without compromising the exceptional bevel placement and size accuracy of the 6E, the 6ES reduces the cycle time for a fully polished Poly lens by over a minute.

The 6ES will be available for shipment in December. Existing 6E customers will be able to purchase an upgrade retrofit kit beginning in January of 2003.
