Optronics Accepts Charlottesville's Business Recognition Award

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA - On January 2, 2001, David A. Beach, President of National Optronics, accepted Charlottesville’s Business Recognition Award from Mayor Blake Caravati.

Optronics was recognized for their significant contribution to the growth, stability and economic vitality in the Charlottesville area. The prestigious Business Recognition Award is given to the company that excels in the following areas: job creation and retention, enhancement of the City’s tax base; overall economic impact on the City and region; contributions to the improvement of the City’s quality of life, and advertising, promotion and marketing of the City and region.

For more than 20 years, Optronics has been a leading manufacturer in the Optical Industry, providing the finest quality dry-cut patternless edgers, generators and tracers. "We are honored to receive this Award", Dave Beach said, " We enjoy being a vital part of Charlottesville’s business community and to have the distinction of being the only United States manufacturer of both finishing and surfacing equipment.
